In the whimsical tale of the eccentric mad scientist Dr. Clayton Forrester, portrayed by Trace Beaulieu, and his endearingly zany assistant, Frank, played by Frank Conniff, their routine at the Deep Thirteen research center grows tiresome. Seeking novel adventures, they devise a peculiar scheme: they abduct Joel, the ever-enthusiastic janitor, portrayed by Joel Hodgson, and propel him into the vast expanse of space aboard the Satellite of Love. There, amidst the cosmic void, Joel constructs two comically unconventional robot companions, Tom Servo, brought to life by Kevin Murphy, and Crow T. Robot, also portrayed by Trace Beaulieu. These mechanical sidekicks are crafted to aid Joel in braving a relentless barrage of low-grade 'Z' movies, which the mad scientists强迫 him to endure.
