This narrative unfolds the tale of a Canadian Mountie who embarked on a quest to Chicago in pursuit of his father's assassin. The investigation eventually traced back to another Mountie, leading to a surprising twist. Upon his return, he was met with disdain by his fellow Mounties, who regarded him as an unwelcome figure. Consequently, the sole posting he could secure was once again in Chicago. Unfortunately, his penchant for the great outdoors chafed against the sensibilities of the Chicago detective with whom he was paired, sparking frequent friction.
