Xena and Gabrielle embark on a journey to the lands of the centaurs, where they lend their aid against Dagnine—a figure who once stood beside Xena during her nefarious past. This man, Dagnine, harbors a desire for the formidable Ixion stone, a relic that had been meticulously concealed by Borias, Xena's erstwhile and now departed lover. During their sojourn, Xena encounters a young lad named Solan, who resides among the centaurs. To Gabrielle, she reveals a stunning truth: Solan is, in fact, her own offspring.
