Upon inheriting a residence nestled in the heart of Hollywood, Jenny and her companion bid farewell to their less-than-ideal positions in Utica, New York. The house, laden with mortgage obligations, necessitates the renting out of the guest quarters to a pair of aspiring filmmakers facing their own set of challenges. Simultaneously, Jenny embarks on a quest to locate her elusive B-movie "star" father, a man she has never had the chance to meet.
