"Touching Evil," a British television drama serial that graced our screens in 1997, was a product of Anglia Television and was broadcast on the ITV network. The series unfolded over six gripping fifty-minute episodes (with commercials, they would last an hour). Crafted by the imaginative Paul Abbott, the serial was a resounding success, birthing two sequel series in 1998 and 1999, though these were penned by other writers.

The series was headlined by the renowned actor Robson Green, who portrayed Detective Chief Inspector (DCI) Creegan, a police officer whose injuries sustained from a shooting bestowed upon him an uncanny ability to intuitively detect criminals. "Touching Evil III" marked a significant milestone as it was co-produced by Green's very own independent production company, Coastal Productions. Sharing the spotlight with Green was Nicola Walker, who delivered a compelling performance as Creegan's trusted colleague, Detective Inspector (DI) Susan Taylor.
