简介：William Powers is a bewildered senator, his political endeavors largely orchestrated by the cunning influence of his wife, Margaret, as well as his chief of staff and secret lover, Jordan, and his political advisor, Bradley. Accompanying them on this turbulent journey are the senator's screeching daughter, Caitlyn, and her despairing husband, Theodore, who finds himself inexplicably drawn to the clumsy yet endearing maid, Charlotte.
