简介：Bertie has returned to New York, his heart deeply captivated by the portrait painter Gwladys Pendlebury. However, his aunt, Agatha, finds little to admire in the portrait she commissioned of Bertie. Her frustration mounts further when her wayward twin sons, entrusted to Bertie's guardianship before they were dispatched to colonial outposts, manage to slip away, pursuing a cabaret singer instead. Meanwhile, Tuppy Glossop arrives with the aim of selling his family's secret recipe for cock-a-leekie soup to the soup magnate Slingsby, in hopes of securing the funds for his impending marriage to Elizabeth. Yet, the slimy advertising man Lucius Pim not only seizes Gwladys from Bertie but also inadvertently turns Aunt Agatha into the unwitting star of Slingsby's soup brand, featured on every billboard across New York City.
