简介:The 1995 FIA Formula One World Championship marked the 49th illustrious season of the FIA Formula One motor racing circuit. The championship was a thrilling contest held over 17 races that spanned from March 26th to November 12th of that year. For the second consecutive year, the Drivers' Championship was triumphantly claimed by Michael Schumacher, the dashing driver of the Benetton team, who outpaced Damon Hill of Williams by a margin of 33 points. The Benetton-Renault squad achieved a historic feat by securing their maiden and sole Constructors' Championship, edging out Williams-Renault by a slender 29-point lead.

The season was distinguished by the intense rivalry between Schumacher and Hill, with the former emerging victorious in nine races and the latter in four. The Benetton and Williams drivers reigned supreme, prevailing in all but one race, the Canadian Grand Prix, which was triumphantly captured by Jean Alesi in a Ferrari. Throughout the season, Ferrari demonstrated their formidable competitive edge in the majority of races, yet misfortune and certain reliability concerns thwarted both drivers from capturing more than a solitary victory. Ferrari further solidified their reputation when they executed a masterstroke by securing the services of the double champion, Schumacher, for the 1996 campaign. Jean Alesi, Johnny Herbert from the Benetton-Renault team, and David Coulthard of the Williams-Renault outfit all celebrated their maiden victories in Formula One.
