简介：Walter Nebicher holds the esteemed position of the police department's resident computer genius. However, his immediate superior fails to acknowledge the pivotal role he plays in the force. Determined to rectify this oversight, Walter devises a remarkable program that spawns Automan—an astoundingly lifelike artificial intelligence construct. Automan not only appears and sounds indistinguishable from a human but, with adequate power, can assume a tangible physical form beyond the confines of the computer, evoking an authentic sense of presence. Alongside Walter and Automan, there is Cursor—a compact, buoyant droid capable of fabricating any object Automan requires. This trio combats the criminal elements that infest the city.
