Half Nelson

Rocky Nelson, a seasoned former New York police officer, is now striving to carve out a niche for himself as an actor in the glitzy landscape of Hollywood. Yet, like countless aspiring thespians, he continues to seek that pivotal "big break." Unfortunately, his stature does not sit well with the directors, who seem to favor a more conventional image for their stars. In the interim, Rocky finds himself employed by Beverly Hills Patrol, a private security outfit that caters to the exclusive demands of Hollywood's elite while also endeavoring to maintain a tranquil environment for their clientele. Occasional cases arise that compel Rocky to revert to his former role as a lawman, a situation that often leaves his supervisor and the police lieutenant he encounters less than pleased.
