Street Justice

Adam Beaudreaux, a former soldier of valor during the Vietnam conflict, sustained injuries in the line of duty. It was through a stroke of destiny that he encountered a young boy, Grady Jameson, whose parents were dedicated missionaries. Grady, with an act of compassionate valor, located and assisted the injured Beaudreaux. Years have elapsed since then, and Beaudreaux has transitioned to a life as a law enforcement officer. His heart has always carried a resolve to locate Grady, a man he had not seen since their chance encounter.

In the intervening years, Beaudreaux has discovered that Grady had faced his own harrowing struggles—his parents were tragically assassinated, and he spent his formative years in a relentless quest for survival. Grady emerged from this adversity as a master of martial arts. Beaudreaux, recognizing Grady's skills and compassion, offers him employment at the bar he co-owns with Kelsey Malloy.

From time to time, Beaudreaux faces situations as a cop where the legal intricacies leave him unable to offer tangible assistance to victims. In such instances, it is Grady who steps in, acting with a distinct style that occasionally conflicts with Beaudreaux's own methods. There are moments when Beaudreaux must even risk his career to rein in Grady when his unconventional approach goes too far.

In a parallel narrative, Adam encounters a young gang leader named Miguel Mendez. After Mendez's arrest, Beaudreaux takes on the responsibility for him, mirroring his support for Grady. In turn, Mendez often aids Beaudreaux, just as Grady does, and like Grady, Mendez sometimes crosses a line. In these instances, Beaudreaux finds himself compelled to lend a hand, much like his past encounters with Grady, to ensure justice is served and the community remains safe.
