Lindsay's suspicion is piqued when she catches sight of Rebecca covertly anticipating the arrival of a significant letter—and her intuition is thoroughly vindicated upon the letter's eventual appearance. Ellenor receives a distraught call from a client who, in a state of inebriation, accidentally struck a man on the street. She is taken aback to uncover the identity of the individual involved in the tragic incident. Hellen, tasked with prosecuting two boys accused of both rape and murder, where each points the finger at the other, ultimately finds herself in a compromising position after striking a deal with the wrong party.
